Summary
We are seeking a QC Technician to join our dynamic team at Impact Fisheries. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and safety of our seafood products through rigorous testing and analysis. Located in the United States, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards from the fishing process to the customer's table.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality control tests on seafood products to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Analyze data collected from tests and inspections to identify trends or issues.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning for accurate results.
- Document findings and prepare reports on quality assessments for management review.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement quality improvements and resolve issues promptly.
- Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) during all testing procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biology or food science preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques related to microbiology and molecular biology.
- Basic math skills for accurate data interpretation.
- Familiarity with animal physiology is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
