Impact Living Services is hiring Full-Time Youth Counselors to provide Intensive In-Home, Mentoring, and Parenting Services in our Roanoke office!
This position is great for individuals looking to grow in their clinical skills, has flexible hours, and staff are assigned a variety of types of cases to prevent burnout (Intensive In-Home and Therapeutic Mentoring with children, and Parenting Services with Adults).
This is a great position for individuals looking for entry-level work within the mental health field and for individuals with experience that can transition into other opportunities within our agency (Master's Level Therapist positions, Independent Living Work with you in Foster Care, etc.).
Impact Living Services is a private non-profit organization specializing in Foster Care, Independent Living and Behavioral Health Services. ILS is seeking qualified QMHP, Licensed or Licensed Eligible Mental Health Professionals to provide Community Based Services throughout the greater Lynchburg Region.

Qualifications:
- Must possess either a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
- Must be either registered QMHP, Licensed or Licensed Eligible from the Virginia Department of Health Professions (DHP).
- Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience working with children/adolescents and adults who have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
- Travel required - must have a valid Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Experience:
- 1 year working with children and families with a mental health diagnosis (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's (Required)
- Master’s (Preferred)
License:
- QMHP (Required)
- LMHP (R) (preferred)
