As a small business, our team members wear multiple hats and contribute to the overall success of the company. We are looking for an adaptable and proactive HR Generalist to support our Human Resources department while also providing occasional assistance to other departments as needed.
About the Role
The HR Generalist will play a critical role in managing the daily operations of our HR department, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, benefits coordination, compliance tracking, policy administration, and HRIS management. Acting as a key liaison between employees and management, this role ensures a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace environment.
Additionally, given our small business structure, the HR Generalist will also provide support outside of HR, assisting with payroll, answering phones, lead follow-ups, and event setup / cleanup when needed.
This position reports directly to the Director of Operations at the site level, with a dotted line to the Director of HR & Recruiting at the parent company to align with company-wide HR policies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Recruit, screen, and schedule interviews for qualified candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand required skills and competencies.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires to align them with company culture and expectations.
