Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Admission to and good standing with the California Bar.
- 4 years of substantive experience in complex commercial litigation at a mid-size or large law firm.
- Strong case management skills, with the ability to take the lead on matters.
- Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills.
- Experience drafting and arguing discovery motions, dispositive motions, and/or class certification motions.
- Proficiency in taking and defending depositions and assisting in both jury and bench trials.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to contribute to a growing office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high-value business and commercial litigation matters across a wide range of industries.
- Engage in complex litigation, including products liability, consumer class actions, privacy law, false advertising, and toxic torts.
- Serve as trial counsel for Fortune 200 companies in both state and federal courts.
- Work alongside seasoned litigators in developing case strategy, preparing motions, and conducting depositions.
