Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a motivated junior-mid level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Los Angeles office. This role offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated commercial litigation matters while working closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in California is required.
- 3–5 years of substantive experience in general commercial litigation matters.
- Familiarity with consumer finance, complex commercial disputes, and products liability is a plus.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- A strong, positive presence and advocacy ability.
- Entrepreneurial drive and initiative are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a variety of general commercial litigation matters, including consumer finance, products liability, and complex commercial disputes.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other court filings.
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trial proceedings.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide effective client representation.
- Communicate with clients regarding case developments, legal strategies, and risk assessments.
- Assist with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting commercial litigation.
