What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live Poultry Production Manager position at Impact Solutions Inc?
Immediate need for a Live Production Manager for a chicken grow-out facility in Eastern NC. This role manages and provides direction for 3 hatcheries and 3 feed mills. Specific responsibilities include:
· Communicate effectively with subordinates, peers and senior management and non-company personnel to ensure optimal performance and resolution of problems.
· Develop, implement and monitor Live Production budgets.
· Enforce compliance with company requirements regarding bio-security, food safety and poultry welfare programs and policies.
· Maintain compliance with all local, state and federal regulations as they relate to poultry production.
· Maintain a safe working environment.
· Analyze trends and variables to identify problem areas or successes and take appropriate action.
Requirements: BS Degree in Animal Science is preferred. Other degrees and years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Additionally:
· Poultry husbandry experience
· Hatchery experience
· Broiler experience
· Feed mill experience
· Knowledge of and commitment to Animal Welfare guidelines.
· Knowledge of and commitment to OSHA guidelines for live poultry production and feed mill facilities.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
