MID-LEVEL CORPORATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Our client, a prestigious Southeastern law firm, is seeking a talented Corporate Associate Attorney to join their team in Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with international experience to work on complex corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A, in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in North Carolina.
- 3–5 years of substantive experience in corporate and commercial transactions.
- Experience handling commercial contracts, including supply agreements, technology contracts, and distributor agreements.
- Background in corporate structuring, governance, and M&A.
- International experience and foreign language proficiency, particularly in German, are preferred.
- Excellent writing skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise (primarily) international clients, on corporate and commercial transactions, including M&A.
- Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, sales representative and distributor agreements.
- Handle UCC transactions and corporate formation and governance matters.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex business transactions.
- Stay current on legal developments affecting corporate and commercial law.
