This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a growing office with a tenured team of accomplished trial attorneys and litigators handling complex, high-stakes litigation across a wide range of industries.
Candidate Profile:
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Bar Admission in California (in good standing).
- 10 years of substantive experience in complex commercial litigation, including trial experience in state and federal courts.
- Extensive experience drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing for depositions.
- Strong background in arguing discovery motions, dispositive motions, and/or class certification motions.
- Proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution.
- Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to contribute to a fast-growing office and expand the firm’s litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex commercial litigation matters, including high-profile business disputes, class actions, and multi-jurisdictional cases.
- Take the lead on all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and managing discovery.
- Prepare for and conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled trial attorneys on litigation strategy and case management.
- Represent clients in both state and federal courts, leveraging deep litigation experience to secure favorable outcomes.
- Play a key role in business development efforts and the continued growth of the Los Angeles office.
