What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist position at Impact Solutions Inc?
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage EHS compliance programs at the facility
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement safety controls
- Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and NEC
- Drive investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
- Develop and deliver EHS training for employees
- Track, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Serve as the Emergency Response Coordinator (24/7 on-call)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in an EHS role
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
Nice to Have:
- Professional safety certification (CSP, CIH, etc.)
- Experience with ISO, OHSAS, or VPP compliance programs
Salary : $75,000 - $125,000
