Job Description
An established Wholesale Manufacturer of sporting and recreational apparel in NYC is looking to fill a Sr. Technical Design position working with Men's Performance Outerwear and Active Sportswear.
Requirements
- Has worked with Men’s performance outerwear and active sportswear or related categories
- Excellent time management skills, possessing a sense of urgency with completing tasks in a timely manner
- Exceptional follow-up abilities and follow-through results with all correspondents
- Analytical and strong organizational skills with emphasis on accuracy and attention to details
- Expertise in fit and function, garment construction, and is able to create grade rules
- Patternmaking knowledge with the capability to make pattern corrections
- Understands fabrics and their characteristic contribution to fit and function
- Proficiency in Excel
- Illustrator know-how a plus
- Works well with cross-functional teams
- Costco experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct fittings
- Daily communication with overseas factories to reach satisfying fits and maintain the T&A of the production process
- Become well acquainted with each account and their compliance requirements
- Follow-up on sample requirements as needed for each individual account
- Meticulously review and prep samples for Customer approval
- Analyze and compare competitive brands to create specific fits
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
