What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Security Engineer position at IMPACT Technology Recruiting?
Our client, located in AZ is looking for a IT Security Engineer on a Contract to potential hire basis.
Note:
- 5 days onsite per week in Scottsdale, AZ
- This is a contract role (Potential conversion)
- Open to W2 or Corp to Corp
Required skills
- At least 4 years progressively responsible information technology experience.
- At least 4 years hands-on experience with security tools including, but not limited to, reverse proxies, intrusion prevention, malware detection, and vulnerability management.
- Proven experience with any combination of the following: AWS/Azure, secure coding, threat modeling, identity management and authentication, cryptography, penetration testing, authentication and security protocols, system administration and network security is necessary.
Preferred skills:
- An understanding of Web services and experience with multiple programming languages (such as, JSON, PowerShell, Ruby, Python, Perl, etc.) is preferred.
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, common protocols and standards is necessary.
- Corporate retail experience preferred
