Job Overview
Impact Transportation,LLC is seeking an EMT/Driver to serve the Chattanooga, TN and surrounding counties to perform inter-facility transfers, hospital discharges, and long distance transfers throughout the state.
The Transport EMT is responsible for stretcher operations and safe care of clients during transport. The EMT has a thorough knowledge of operations and maintenance of transport equipment. The Transport EMT safely operates vehicle on non-emergent transports. The EMT works effectively as a team member, supports a teamwork philosophy, and promotes positive relationships with referring providers and organizations.

Responsibilities:
-Safe operations of Stretcher clients
-Perform pre-trip inspections to verify that the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
-Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals at destinations- Operates vehicles safely on non-emergent transports. Ensures vehicles are safe, clean and operational.
- Assists with direct patient care.
-Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as loading and unloading stretcher patients.
-Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Promotes a positive relationship with referral health care providers, employees, families and fellow transport team crew members.
- Participates in Quality Improvement activities and demonstrates professional commitment to maintaining required certification and attending education/training, meetings, and assigned committees.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers and clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices is a plus.
- Must be punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routes as needed.
