Location: Griffin, GA
Salary: $60,000 per year
Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM 

Position Overview:
We are seeking an Accounting Manager in Griffin, Georgia. The ideal candidate should have managerial experience, a strong background in accounting (including Excel proficiency), and the ability to manage a small team focused on accounts receivable, payable, and reconciliation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounting department, managing a team of three accounting professionals.
• Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with the custom brokerage team to understand invoicing and customs entries.
• Assist in training and developing team members in accounting practices and customs brokerage.
• Maintain effective communication with accounting and operations teams to streamline processes.
• Be proactive in identifying and resolving any financial discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proven managerial experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in customs brokerage is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
