The Residential Operations Director
Job Summary
The Residential Operations Director (ROD) will oversee management of residential programs’ operations to ensure quality service implementation, increase consumers’ satisfaction, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including HCBS. The ROD will ensure a positive atmosphere with a focus on the growth and development of Impactful Residential Care (IRC) LLC Supporting the CEO and Team to grow and manage the SIP Implementation Process.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring a high quality of care and program quality is maintained in the IRC homes by: offering support, guidance, and supervision to different residential program leaders; ensuring staff capacity development; providing in-service education, continuing education, and ensure staff complete state and agency-required training programs.
- Coordinate and Manage client move in including but not limited to responding to vendor calls, intake, client and house binders (MAR, Clinical binders)
- Ensure client homes readiness and licensing
- Facilitating employees’ familiarization with all applicable laws and regulations
- Oversees the ISP implementation, client community engagement and documentation.
- Provide oversight of residential program operations
- Manage and coordinate consumers’ team visits and serve as focal point for guardians and case workers communication and correspondence.
- Ensure house forms are completed, analyzed and filed.
- Regularly home visits to ensures effective members care coordination
- Provides supervision and guidance to the house and program manager in coordinating service delivery
- Ensure regular mandatory monthly meetings with house managers are completed.
- Ensures that HCBS settings rules are put into practice and documented
- Coordinate safety evacuation and safety regulations in the houses
- Submits weekly plan and reports to the management team in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and other Skills.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work, Medical or related field required or 15 years of experience in the field.
- Related Professional Certification and Membership are highly recommended.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Ability to learn and stay updated about State rules and regulations for section 21 and 29 waivers of Maine care.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
