SUMMARY:
The Distribution Supervisor participates as a working member of the department to oversee the process of team member safety, D.O.T. compliance, forecasting, scheduling for staging and loading. Works closely with the procurement- blending operation, purchasing department, and as a resource for tracking high value items.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage, coordinate, direct, and coach all distribution employees consisting of material handlers, drivers, and any office personnel
- Plan, coordinate, schedule, the daily, weekly, and monthly workload, and schedule so that labor and equipment are safely and efficiently utilized
- Ensure all internal and external customer needs are met and satisfied
- Ensure all policies and procedures, regulations, SOPs, and best practices are followed
- Ensure equipment is inspected and maintained to limit downtime and unnecessary expenses
- Maintain a safety-first culture
- Develop employees to allow growth for the department, company, and employee as a whole
- Clearly and effectively communicate expectations, results, and information with employees, counterparts, and supervisors to ensure workloads, schedules, and appointments are achieved
- Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of Chemical experience
- Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement a plus
