SUMMARY : The Distribution Supervisor participates as a working member of the department to oversee the process of team member safety, D.O.T. compliance, forecasting, scheduling for staging and loading. Works closely with the procurement- blending operation, purchasing department, and as a resource for tracking high value items. JOB DUTIES : Manage, coordinate, direct, and coach all distribution employees consisting of material handlers, drivers, and any office personnelPlan, coordinate, schedule, the daily, weekly, and monthly workload, and schedule so that labor and equipment are safely and efficiently utilizedEnsure all internal and external customer needs are met and satisfiedEnsure all policies and procedures, regulations, SOPs, and best practices are followedEnsure equipment is inspected and maintained to limit downtime and unnecessary expensesMaintain a safety-first cultureDevelop employees to allow growth for the department, company, and employee as a wholeClearly and effectively communicate expectations, results, and information with employees, counterparts, and supervisors to ensure workloads, schedules, and appointments are achievedOther duties may be assigned.
