SUMMARY:
The Yard Hand is responsible for the organization and upkeep of the Midland facility. Housekeeping for our facility is of the upmost importance to ensure we follow all HSE standards.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist management with physical inventory counts
- Organize inventory and reduce number of product containers
- Prepare inventory for shipment with proper containers, labels, placarding, lids, caps, etc.
- Prepare equipment (trucks, trailers, etc.) for transit
- During downtime perform additional pre and post trip inspections, which include simple minor repairs including tires, lights, brake cables, etc.
- Assist other operations personnel in loading and unloading of inventory on trucks and trailers
- Assist with blending operation when needed and as directed
- Organize other tools, equipment that are needed at various times
- General housekeeping of warehouse, office, and yard, including picking up trash, broken pallets, and various disregarded items and dispose of them properly
- Maintain property vegetation (cut down weeds)
- Other duties may be assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE:
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a warehouse or production support (blending, loading) environment.
- Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, skid loaders, etc.)
- Medically qualified to wear a respirator
- Physically able to lift 60 pounds, climb stairs or a ladder, and agile enough to squat and bend
- Team player with ability to perform physical work
- Forklift operation certified (in house training required)
