JOB SUMMARY
This Entry Writer role will be primarily supporting In Bonds on our Brokerage team. This person will be responsible for reviewing necessary documents, filing in bonds with US Customs, and processing necessary documentation with partnering government agencies when needed. Tracking and invoicing. Interacting with importers, Customs and Border Protection, Other PGA's, truckers and warehouses via email and telephone.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Clearing goods through customs, working with other government agencies such as FDA, USDA etc.
- Classifying goods according to tariff coding system.
- Preparing and processing import documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
- Arrange for payment of taxes and duties on shipments.
- Bill customers
- Sign documents on behalf of clients, using powers of attorney.
- Monitor or trace the location of goods.
- Assist clients in obtaining bonds and other necessary documentation.
- Arrange for transportation or warehousing of imported products.

20 to $25 hourly, the pay range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
