SUMMARY
The System Administrator is responsible for setting up and maintaining and troubleshooting all systems on the LAN / WAN. The Systems Administrator will also troubleshoot any problems on the network and help users with tech concerns. They will conduct monitoring, response and intervention for IT related security incidents and violations as well as site outages.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage the administration of physical, virtual and cloud server environment (security, patch management, deployment, backup).
- Manage the administration of a Windows domain environment & hybrid Microsoft Azure (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, SSO)
- Manage the administration of network connectivity for all locations (deploy, configure, manage, LAN, WAN, WAP, ISP).
- Manage the administration of Azure and M365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Threat Protection, compliance).
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of system configurations, network layouts, and operational procedures.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices for IT management and security.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other IT team members, departments, and external vendors to support organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage the administration of VOIP system (Vonage) (deploy, configure, manage).
- Manage the maintenance of business continuity planning / disaster recovery deployment.
- Maintain inventory of server / network / VoIP equipment.
- Maintain Access Control systems across all offices.
- Conduct monitoring, response and intervention for IT related security incidents and violations, and site outages.
- Assist with level III support for the help desk team and provide level I / II support when needed.
- Maintain smooth workflow and advise your supervisor of workload as necessary.
- Communicating with employees about systems upgrades and changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
5 years plus experience with the following :
Experience in the logistics industry
