The Contract Coordinator will manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to final execution, including amendments, renewals, and terminations. Serving as a central liaison between vendor partners and internal teams, such as Supply Chain, Legal, and Accounting, this role is essential to ensuring that all contracts are precise, current, and compliant with company standards. A key responsibility includes aligning business terms across all agreements to meet organizational objectives and mitigate risks. This position is critical in upholding contractual integrity, optimizing compliance, and enhancing vendor performance. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and adept at handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Salary: $31.25 - $36.06/hour

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Contract Management: Support the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts to ensure alignment with company policies, business objectives, and legal standards. Collaborate with legal counsel to address and resolve complex terms and conditions.
  • Contract Administration: Maintain organized and secure contract records and databases to ensure easy access to documents. Facilitate contract audits by providing comprehensive documentation for both internal and external reviews.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Oversee the lifecycle of contractual agreements, including proactive monitoring of key dates to ensure timely renewals, amendments, and terminations, while addressing any necessary adjustments.
  • Reporting & Compliance Audits: Track contract milestones, status, and compliance issues, generating regular reports to assess vendor performance, adherence to contract terms, and overall compliance.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure contract execution, performance alignment, and compliance with terms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal teams—such as Legal, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Finance—to align stakeholders on contract details and maintain a unified approach to contract management. Serve as the primary contact for all contract-related inquiries and resolutions.

Qualifications

You have:

  • High level of accuracy in managing multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring consistency and compliance across all agreements
  • Strong time management skills, proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage competing deadlines, and handle multiple stages of the contract lifecycle efficiently.
  • Ability to assess and resolve contract issues, analyze terms for potential risks, and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, with hands-on experience in redlining and tracking contract changes. Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) software and database management is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with vendors, fostering open communication to ensure alignment on contract terms and performance expectations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities to clearly convey contract terms and updates to diverse stakeholders.
  • Excels in working independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve contract objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Legal Studies, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or actively pursuing one).
  • 1-3 years contract administration, procurement, supply chain, or a related field, with a focus on managing contract processes.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, contract structures, procurement processes, and vendor management best practices.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards to contract terms is a plus.
