We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Behavioral Specialist to help provide 24-hour care for adolescent females receiving treatment for various mental health and behavioral challenges. Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older to apply.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Reliability and dependability are critical.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Physical ability to assist with residents' needs, including the occasional use of passive physical restraints (rare).

Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with adolescent residents both individually and in group settings.
- Document care, observations, and behaviors in accordance with policies.
- Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and basic homework when needed.
- Supervise residents in designated "special care areas" and monitor safety.
- Assist with evening activities such as dinner, bedtime routines, and other scheduled activities.
- Run errands related to resident care and house needs as assigned.
- Utilize Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) when necessary to maintain personal and resident safety.
- Support peers and assist with activities as needed throughout the shift.
- Participate in treatment planning and therapeutic programming under the direction of clinical staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment and report maintenance needs.
- Assist with admissions and discharges as needed.
- Participate in meetings with other Direct Care Staff and contribute to ongoing staff communication and planning.
