Responsibilities:
- This position requires measuring and the ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Set up brake press operations to produce materials according to specifications and schedules.
- Ability to safely operate equipment such as brake press machines, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
- Inspect work for defects and ensure parts are made to specifications.
- Maintain and repair all machinery and perform daily housekeeping.
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing gloves, protective eyewear, and safety shoes.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills to interpret drawings and read and understand blueprints.
- Must be able to read gauges, tape measure, and other measurement tools.
- Previous brake press experience desirable.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

- Capability of understanding technical plans and drawings.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Maintain accurate work and good levels of concentration.
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or on an individual basis.
