Your Role: As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple marine construction projects, managing field crews and subcontractors, and ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. In addition, you will support implementation tasks such as scheduling, permitting coordination, materials logistics, and communication between office and field. You'll be the critical link between strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day construction activities including site prep, inspections, and coordination of field teams.
- Implementation Support: Assist with permitting, material procurement, and pre-project planning to ensure smooth handoff from office to field.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with the Owner and internal team to manage timelines, address challenges, and deliver exceptional results.
- Client Communication: Represent the company on job sites and during client updates, ensuring expectations are clearly understood and met.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Maintain project schedules, track equipment and material deliveries, and keep all parties informed.
- Quality Control: Ensure each build meets company and regulatory standards. Conduct walkthroughs and oversee punch lists.
- Process Feedback: Identify recurring challenges or opportunities and suggest improvements to field or administrative processes.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably marine or waterfront construction.
- Strong understanding of permitting, marine materials, and coastal construction methods.
- Comfortable working in both field and office environments.
- Solid communication, time management, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools or willingness to learn (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, etc.).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
