SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for cleaning warehouse areas and sorting all totes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of Sanitation, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description.
Responsible for operating a pallet jack in order to manage and organize totes to and from the dock area and warehouse.
Responsible for neatly stacking and organizing totes by color in the respective area.
Responsible for making certain all totes are clean and ready for reuse.
Responsible for removing all non-permanent stickers and labels from the tote.
Responsible for maintaining the tote cleaning areas both inside and outside: making sure supplies are stocked and trash cans are emptied.
Reports to work on time and completes all duties in a timely manner.
Performs above listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively.
All personnel within this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs.

The physical demands of this job include light physical activity performing light strenuous activities of an administrative, productive and/or technical nature that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands or arms. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift up to 25 pounds. The employee must frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a warehouse environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly work in wet humid conditions, and in outdoor weather conditions. The employee must occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and near toxic or caustic chemicals.
The noise level of the work environment is usually loud.
