- Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of QA workspaces, including equipment, tools, and surfaces, to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation protocols outlined by company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, OSHA, or USDA).
- Handle the proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials according to company guidelines and local regulations.
- Conduct daily inspections of sanitation practices, addressing any deficiencies to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, break areas, offices, and production-adjacent areas used by the QA team.
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and hygiene items to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, or steam cleaners, as required.
- Work closely with the QA and production teams to identify and address sanitation concerns or areas needing improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, procedures, and any corrective actions taken.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in sanitation, janitorial services, or a similar role in a regulated environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation techniques, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Familiarity with quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., GMP, HACCP).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules and protocols.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
