The Sanitation Specialist will clean and maintain assigned areas of the facility and grounds.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Sanitize and continuously clean all commonly used areas to reduce the threat of viruses and germs. Areas include but are not limited to : break rooms, restrooms, conference rooms, timeclocks and other tools utilized.
Performs cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services throughout facility.
Picks up trash and empties trash containers.
Performs light repairs.
Vacuums and cleans floors.
Ensures that cleaning supplies are in stock.
Make sure floor is free of obstructions, maintain good housekeeping.
Follows all safety rules.
Understands and follows Job Safety Analysis for this position.
Wears eye protection and any other designated PPE.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Ability to keep the property clean and orderly.
Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous demeanor towards employees, visitors and customers.
Works well as a productive member of a team.
Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
