About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Quarry Supervisor to oversee safe and efficient mining operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety standards, optimizing production, and fostering a strong team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise extraction, processing, and distribution of materials while maintaining compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, geologists, surveyors, and contractors to develop effective mining plans.
- Develop strategies to optimize reserves and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on production, safety, and compliance.
- Manage personnel, equipment, and resources to achieve key performance targets.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of mining and quarry methods, drilling and blasting, reserve estimation, and geological assessments.
- Effective leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Google G-Suite, SAP, and AutoCAD.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a mining operation.
