THE POSITION:
My client are seeking an experienced Mission Critical leader with 10 years of experience to assist in the company's continued growth. As Vice President, you will provide leadership for the Northeast. You will spearhead Business Development, Headcount Growth, Operations, Project Pursuits and Construction Program oversight.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing general leadership for Mission Critical Business Unit - oversight of Data Center portfolio.
- Business planning, introduce strategic initiatives.
- Business development - utilizing pre-existing client network to develop new accounts.
- Account management/maintaining client relationships.
- Identify potential new geographical markets for expansion.
- Direct involvement in project design/delivery.
- Involvement in business unit headcount growth.
- working with subcontractors and leading proposals/presentations.
- Delivery of monthly reports / long range major initiative tracking.
- Responsible for project performance - financial, schedule, quality, contractual and administrative.
- Negotiate terms of contracts with clients.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years' Data Center construction experience.
- Minimum 10 years' construction management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
- Business Development experience.
- Data Center owner/developer relationships.
- Proficient in leading effective project meetings with customer, consultants, and internal employees; experience presenting at client meetings or for project pursuit.
- Strong stakeholder/client relationship management experience, evidenced by negotiated or repeat work.
