POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Improveit Community Ambassador, you’ll be responsible for engaging with potential customers and promoting our products and services through popular canvassing methods. You’ve been selected for this role because of your excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and strong work ethic, all of which will help you book appointments for our in-home sales team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as the public face of Improveit in the communities we serve.
- Connect with potential customers through door-to-door inquiries and other field lead generation locations and events.
- Promote Improveit bath remodeling, window replacement, and (where applicable) kitchen remodeling services.
- Answer customers’ initial questions about our products, services, processes, and experience
- Schedule appointments with prospective customers for demonstrations on IHR Products and Services.
- Follow company guidelines to collect information from prospects to achieve lead generation and marketing objectives for Improveit.
- Use digital and telephone-based platforms to communicate customer information back to the corporate office
- Meet daily and weekly quotas for community engagement and lead generation
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and feedback
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions
- Must be willing to weekends and evenings (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to drive a conversation.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail and punctuality.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to educate potential customers about our products and services.
- Ability to utilize our proven system to generate qualified leads for our rapidly growing company.
- Tech savvy, able to operate Microsoft Office, computers, spreadsheets, and mobile devices.
- Industry experience is preferred by not required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements: This is a physical role, and you must be able to:
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Navigate curbs, stairs, and uneven terrain
- Carry and transport marketing materials and equipment, such as iPads and printed leaflets
- Wearing an Improveit-branded shirt
- Comfortable, but clean shoes that will hold up to extensive walking
- Your Improveit ID badge
