Location : Must be available to work at the Burnsville, MN office
Compensation : The expected base hourly wage for this Minnesota-based position is $22-24. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and or experience.
Basic Function
Imricor’s summer internship program blends real-world experience with an extensive medical device industry overview in an innovative and fast-paced environment. Knowledgeable accounting professionals will provide guidance as you gain professional hands-on experience in all the facets required to bring a medical device to the market. This position is responsible for complying with the Quality System requirements and carrying out responsibilities as outlined in the environmental, health, and safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and identify and investigate any discrepancies
- Assist with standard month-end closing procedures
- Assists with the half-year financial statement reviews and preparation of required financial reporting to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)
- Gains a working knowledge and a solid understanding of QuickBooks
- Comparing reports for accuracy and consistency
- Gathers data from our ERP system and organizes it for analysis by others within the organization
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner
