Location: Must be available to work at the Burnsville, MN office
Compensation: The expected base hourly wage for this Minnesota-based position is $29-47 an hour. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. Centered on continuous improvement, the Senior Manufacturing and Maintenance Technician will serve as the department's expert in performing all the service, repair, and maintenance as well as day-to-day manufacturing support for the production team. This includes the cleanrooms, general assembly, and the facility.

Centered on continuous improvement, the Senior Manufacturing and Maintenance Technician will serve as the department's expert in performing all the service, repair, and maintenance as well as day-to-day manufacturing support for the production team. This includes the cleanrooms, general assembly, and the facility.
Responsibilities
- Performs planned and unplanned maintenance, repair, and service for all manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.
- Provides day-to-day front-line support for the Manufacturing team.
- Establishes and maintains all maintenance procedures, records, and work orders.
- Establishes and maintains a spare parts program for all relevant equipment.
- Investigates and troubleshoots equipment problems and gathers relevant information to make informed decisions on the next steps including escalation.
- Develops a system to ensure manufacturing aids and supplies are available as needed.
- Carries out duties in a self-directed environment interacting with all members of the operations and quality functions.
- Designs and builds manufacturing tools/fixtures to support the Production Team.
- Becomes proficient at using GagePack to manage all Equipment activity.
- Supports the Engineering team and carry out various tests and protocols.
- Performs occasional maintenance on the facility for both Gateway and Design Center locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Associate degree or technical degree preferred.
- 5 years’ experience working in a medical device manufacturing (regulated) industry.
- Proven track record of performing independent investigational and troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of documentation requirements.
- Experience designing fixtures/tooling with SolidWorks desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-demand situations.
- Light to moderate lifting at times.
- Requires repetitive motion for use of hands and fingers.
- Require frequent standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
Salary : $29 - $47
