Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Location: Beaverton, OR
Duration: 5 months on w2
Job Description:
The Product Logistics Specialist will operationalize inventory to a space by organizing, tracking, and securing product in a centralized location and will also understand the logistics of the product movement.
Ultimately reducing the “chase” time for product; enabling less physical product to serve more of the company's needs and minimizing product loss.
The Deliverables:
- Steward the product in the facility through its lifecycle including delivery receipt, unboxing, organizing, storing, retrieving and on-campus delivery of product
- Process inbound staging & receiving merchandise
- Maintain on-hand merchandise, inventory audits and cycle counts
- Pull product for executions, often on same-day notice
- Process outbound shipping of merchandise and inventory liquidations
- Create packing lists for shipping and carnets
- Coordinate and process return of merchandise once production is complete
- Support Product Inventory Leads and Manager
- Support and direct Seasonal Product Management Teams
- Serve the needs of the tenants while observing policies and protocols for product security, access and availability
- Logistics Experience is a Must
- Excel proficiency is required, and full working knowledge of MS Office Suite is needed, familiarity with Airtable, Tableau, SAP, Keynote and any WMS system a plus
- Document process best practices & improvements areas and validate the effectiveness of actions taken
- Identify and elevate risks, issues, roadblocks and suggest solutions
- Proactively contribute to a problem-solving Product Management community
- Maintain and organize sample, product and prop storage areas
- Work with clients, vendors, and logistic providers to secure missing samples
- Provide Excellent Customer Service
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 3 years experience in shipping, receiving, customer service, retail, or stock room type environment
• Be available to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Commit to no electronic devices during team meetings or 1:1s (Unless designated as note taker)
• Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work with a diverse group or people
