Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated, experienced Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Pilates techniques and be committed to helping clients achieve their fitness goals through personalized instruction and group classes. This role requires a blend of expertise in anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to design effective workout programs tailored to individual needs.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and informative Pilates classes for individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Educate clients on proper techniques, body alignment, and the benefits of Pilates exercises.
- Design customized workout programs that accommodate various fitness levels and goals.
- Monitor client progress and provide feedback to help them improve their performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio space, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
- Promote health club services and programs to encourage client participation and retention.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to enhance program offerings, including integrating elements from kickboxing or group fitness as appropriate.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to movement and exercise.
- Experience in program design that caters to diverse client needs.
- Ability to educate clients effectively on Pilates principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with additional fitness modalities such as cycle, kickboxing, or group fitness is a plus.
- Previous experience in health club environments or sports coaching is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Sales skills required related to fitness programs to help enhance client engagement and retention.
