Part-Time Salesperson


Eat In Good Faith LLC (eatingoodfaith.com) is launching an early stage healthy and better for you snack food brand under the trademark: IN GOOD FAITH.  


Seeking a positive, energetic, highly experienced relationship driven individual to support our sales strategy, by focusing first and foremost on Local (DFW local market and in Texas) and especially the Away From Home channel; then Regional; and then National. Sales Rep must be a professional with significant experience working in the consumer packaged food and beverage (‘CPG”) space, including e-commerce. This ambitious, flexible, professional must dive in and be hands on and will be responsible to support their area of the sales strategy.  The Sales Rep will work with the Sales Manager, and as needed the Chief Stewardship Officer and with the President, and the functional teams as needed.  The ideal candidate will exercise good judgment and initiative in supporting the business.  The Sales Rep is responsible for managing their sales, including the sales lifecycles, including identifying and working with Leadership in qualifying new sales opportunities, visiting new and existing customers, closing deals, and maintaining customer relationships. Sales Rep is responsible for managing their daily activities within the sales team. The work is generally of a confidential nature. This position must cooperatively and seamlessly work with others.


Functions:

  • Responsible for developing and leading the sales strategy (with internal and external resources), and driving results from that strategy that meets and exceeds the company goals.
  • Understand how to identify needs, and pain points and sell customers on how Eat In Good Faith product solutions can help. Away From Home (i.e. Non-Traditional / Foodservice); Retail, Grocery and related industries focused.
  • Focusing first and foremost on Local (DFW and Texas); then Regional; and then National.
  • Leveraging existing customer relationships first.
  • Find new business opportunities by leveraging your networks and utilizing cold visiting and calling strategies. 
  • Run face-to-face meetings selling customer, and managing sales process 
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Work in a fast-paced environment where your hard work will be rewarded 
  • Ensure sales quotas by reviewing sales opportunity history and forecasts. 
  • Weekly review of the sales funnel; ensure the sales pipeline remains full with qualified leads and prospects. 
  • Report sales data to the sales team lead, including activity and opportunity statistics, quotas, pipeline, forecast, referrals, etc. 


Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistency of existing systems through maintaining standards/procedures for daily activities. 
  • Follow training programs to develop & refine the skills of the business development team. 
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the portfolio company's products, and how they relate to customer’s needs. 
  • Review publications and online materials to remain up-to-date with current and future trends emerging in the industry. 
  • Anticipate a variety of needs and problems and proactively suggest approaches and solutions. Stay abreast of developing needs and requirements for the team and act resourcefully. 
  • Prepare and compile confidential correspondence, presentations and reports. 
  • Support the company in maintaining a work environment that fosters learning, respect, open communication, collaboration, integrity, and teamwork. 
  • Promote and demonstrate our Culture Strategy including our company’s Values and Key Elements of Success.  
  • Other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications: 


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 


  • Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships and existing customer relationships within Away From Home (i.e. Non-Traditional / Foodservice); Retail, Grocery and related industries focused.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of the sales lifecycle. 
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, sales dynamics and requirements. 
  • Thorough understanding of how customers in the small to medium to large national chain market operate. 
  • Enjoy working with customers and external audiences. 
  • High energy and drive with good negotiation skills. 
  • Proficient with general office applications. 
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. 
  • Skill in preparing written communications and materials. 
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care. 
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly. 
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment.


Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

  • BA/BS, preferably in marketing, advertising, business administration or a related field. 
  • MBA preferred but not required. 
  • 5 years of sales experience. 
  • 2 years of business management experience.
