Nurse for In Home Care

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Nurse to provide essential care and support to a young lady in our home with complications similar to cerebral palsy. Happy, gentle and likes staff to talk to her and provide social interaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatrics ,direct support, and working with people with disabilities.

Responsibilities
- Practice Universal precautions, trained in CPR and first aid, prefer non -smoker, must be vaccinated.
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions
- Prepare meds and bolus feeding -according to dietary requirements
- Provide direct support to individuals with some lifting and transferring.
- Lung assessment, O2 Sats, ROM, CPT given.

Experience
- Previous experience in home care nursing or a related field
- Proficiency in patient observation and assessment
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring
- Strong communication skills and empathy for patients' needs.

Live in the Marion/Cedar Rapids area. Be reliable , pass background checks. Provide 3 references.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
