Job Overview: As a Salesperson for In House, you will be responsible for identifying new customer markets, exploring opportunities, and developing relationships that lead to the successful sale of our home maintenance packages. You will play a key role in helping us expand our customer base while delivering exceptional value to homeowners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Exploration & Analysis: Identify and research potential customer markets, including both residential neighborhoods and communities. Analyze market trends and customer needs to target high-potential areas.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Use various methods (cold calling, networking, email campaigns, etc.) to reach new potential customers. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships with homeowners by understanding their needs and presenting home maintenance package solutions. Be a trusted advisor and resource for all things related to home upkeep.
- Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct in-person or virtual presentations to demonstrate the value of our home maintenance packages. Clearly communicate the benefits of our membership programs and how they meet customer needs.
- Negotiation & Closing: Use your persuasive skills to close sales by addressing customer concerns, offering flexible solutions, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience from initial contact to the closing of the sale.
- Customer Retention: Work with the customer service team to ensure smooth onboarding for new members and follow up regularly to maintain high satisfaction and retention rates.
- Reporting & Targets: Track your sales activities, manage your pipeline, and report on your progress towards monthly and quarterly sales targets. Stay proactive about achieving set goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a home services or subscription-based business.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition and relationship-building techniques.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
- Knowledge of home maintenance or real estate is a plus but not required.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools is preferred.
