Role Description
This is a part time role for a Business Manager at In Site Designs, Inc. The 'Studio Manager' will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing budgets, coordinating projects and timelines, and ensuring efficient studio workflows.
Qualifications
- Business Management, Operations, and Project Management skills
- Financial acumen and Budgeting skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team
- Experience in the interior design or architecture industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
Job Tasks
In addition to generally assisting and eventually managing all aspects of the business and growth of In Site Designs, these are more specific tasks of the job:
1. Further developing and documenting company structure
2. Defining and refining all job roles and future job roles in the company
3. Assisting in employee annual performance and job reviews, pay review, raises, incoming job bonuses
4. Assist in writing new job descriptions for the company, interviews and hiring
5. Managing onboarding of new staff
6. Assist in managing HR within the company
7. Updating and Creating employee contracts as needed
8. Studio Webware- top line management
9. Monthly number checks through Studio Webware time tracking
10. Manage designers’ time billings
11. Manage client contracts, project timelines and designer adherence.
12. Manage all insurance for the company, property, and employees
13. Assist in overseeing execution of taxes (categorizing and improving process)
14. Assist in overseeing the topline numbers and profitability of the company
15. Business development and networking in the industry and community
16. Outlook and contact organization
17. Oversee programs and subscriptions within the company
