About the HR Manager Role
The HR Manager serves as the HR Business Partner to the site General Manager and provides the leadership and navigation HR perspective and role modeling, to the GM and leadership Team. This role implements the personnel management and development policy within the framework of the company's strategy, in compliance with labor regulations and internal policies and agreements. The HR Manager ensures all or part of the development and management of human resources for all site and remote employees in collaboration with the other functions of the HRD. This role plays an advisory role with the leadership team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Participates in the development of the HR strategy and implements it after validation by senior leadership.
- Manages HR operations at his/her site (support for reorganizations, compensation and benefits, labor relations, skills development and employee mobility, training, HR communication, etc.).
- Implements a people management culture necessary to achieve the group's ambitions.
- Ensures a positive social climate and employee engagement in the ongoing operation of the company.
- Leads the communication activities and mobilizes, influences, and engages employees to advance the deployment of the policies for which he/she is responsible: defines and embodies the Intech values, promotes good practices, values expected attitudes and behaviors.
- Manages overall talent management program to include talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, employee development, and strategic workforce planning.
- Ensures the preparation and processing of payroll.
- Manages existing policies and programs as well as implements and leads new programs as required.
- Ensures the administrative management of personnel and manages the full employee life cycle to include sourcing, onboarding, performance management, terminations, etc.
- Responsible for benefit management and compliance and leave management.
- Oversees worker's compensation program and serves as co-lead over the site's safety committee.
- Ensures compliance with laws and social regulations.
- Will identify, prepare, and present HR KPIs and implement positive change solutions where needed.
- Be a leading partner of change management initiatives, with special focus on operational excellence and performance management processes.
- Be the role model for living the Intech Values and be the employees' advocate.
What Skills You'll Bring
- College degree in human resources, business, or a related field is required.
- Minimum eight (8) years HR experience across several functions resolving complex employee relations issues. (i.e. recruitment, employee relations, compensation, employee and management development, etc.), in roles with increasing responsibility.
- Minimum of five (5) years HR experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain environment, required.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment and labor laws.
- History of effectively coaching across all levels and functions, including senior leaders.
- Experience managing multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously and executing successfully.
- Experience in talent strategy, people/leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
- Strong in technology to perform job requirements, including but not limited to MS 365 programs and HRIS platforms.
- Must be self-motivated, energetic, able to build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of employees.
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be familiar with FMLA, ADA, USERRA, FLSA, and general employment laws.
- Must be able to hold yourself and others accountable for a high level of performance and integrity.
- ADP HRIS experience is a plus.
