What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Event Technician position at In The Event?
We're looking for talented individuals to join our event technician and warehouse team. In The Event offers the ideal work environment for those passionate about event production, whether it's setting up and breaking down events, handling AV and lighting tech, applying design knowledge, or managing inventory. This role is dynamic, covering a wide range of operational and supportive tasks.
Responsibilities:
-Setting up and striking events
-Operating equipment for live events
-Manage and maintain our warehouse inventory and event equipment
-Ensure equipment is prepped, tested, and ready for use
-Organizing, sorting, and shelving inventory on racks or in bins
-Track production orders: customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders
-Prep orders promptly from inventory and place on carts/pallets/trucks
-Support event load-ins, setups, and load-outs alongside the team
-Transporting inventory and event equipment in company vehicles
-Verify accuracy and production quality of inventory received and loaded for delivery
-Participate in physical inventory and product counts as directed, ensuring accurate labels and tags
What We're Looking For:
- Dependable attendance, show up and be on time
- Schedule flexibility, overtime as needed to meet client expectations
- Position requires physical effort and repetitive motion (up to 50 lbs, reach/lowering to the ground, left/right movements)
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have a driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic understanding of technology (requires use of iPads)
- Willingness to learn (will be taught industry standards and terms)
- Have a neat and professional appearance (uniform is required)
