We are looking for a salon and day spa front desk representative to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodations. Salon and day spa front desk responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about services, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the service industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform guests about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their visits)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival
- Provide information about our salon/spa, available services, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Liaise with our service and support staff to ensure all guests’ needs are met
- Upsell additional beauty products and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Requirements
- Work experience as a Receptionist or similar role
- Experience with service oriented reservations software, like Millenium and Salon Biz
- Customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
