Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Proposal Developer to support our business development efforts within the private commercial sector. This role is responsible for managing the creation, coordination, and delivery of high-impact proposals for facility maintenance, security, and concierge services. The ideal candidate brings strong writing skills, an eye for process improvement, and a passion for delivering quality, client-focused proposals that drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
- Lead the creation of custom proposals for commercial clients, ensuring they align with client needs, brand standards, and company capabilities.
- Translate technical service offerings into clear, persuasive content tailored to each opportunity.
- Gather necessary information and assets from internal stakeholders to develop complete and compelling proposals.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all proposal components.
Process Streamlining:
- Build and maintain templates, tools, and standardized processes to improve speed and consistency of proposal generation.
- Continuously evaluate and refine the proposal process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a centralized library of content, case studies, bios, and references for quick access.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform detailed reviews of all proposal content to ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
- Implement a structured internal review process to validate the quality, messaging, and accuracy of all submissions.
- Ensure proposals are client-centric, visually appealing, and error-free.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, operations, and leadership to align proposal strategy with service delivery.
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams to gather input and ensure each proposal reflects the company's strengths and differentiators.
- Provide feedback and post-proposal analysis to continuously improve win rates.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in proposal development or business writing, preferably in a service-based industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with CRM (Salesforce) tools is a plus.
- Experience in facility services, security, or hospitality industries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think strategically.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
