Overview :
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling food processing equipment. Ensures equipment is ready for production runs, completing repairs during the processing season and overhauling during non-production periods.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect, repair, and maintain equipment.
- Troubleshoot and replace machinery as needed.
- Read blueprints and design / install equipment.
- Maintain work records and monitor equipment operation.
- Order parts and supplies.
- Train junior mechanics.
