InAlliance, a nonprofit that provides support to adults with developmental disabilities, is looking for an experienced and motivated Job Coach to provide case management, training, and support services to our participants at employment and community sites. The ideal candidate will be able to mobilize resources and support necessary to assist our participants to reach their career goals.
Responsibilities
- Provides employment support at work sites to individuals seeking to maintain competitive employment.
- Support individuals in exploring vocational interests and aptitudes, assessment, education, volunteering, skill building, and review opportunities for continued growth.
- Assist interested individuals in seeking new employment or promotions.
- Provides employer support such as educational information or job accommodations at client’s request.
- Maintain relationships with current employers and discuss business needs on an ongoing basis.
- Communicate any employment opportunities to the team learned from ongoing contact.
- Communicate with internal and external teams when there are changes in an individual’s job or support needs.
- Document activities through daily case notes and progress reports.
- Develop annual goals with the individual and their support team based on the individual’s interests and preferences.
- Connect individuals with external resources such as SSI, Career Centers, Benefits Planners, and other experts and provide support during these meetings.
- Maintains standards of confidentiality and ethical practice.
- Utilize effective time management skills, establish work priorities, and be organized.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Available to work a flexible schedule which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Flexible and able to adapt to frequent changes to case load, support strategies, company policies, state, and federal laws, as well as other regulations that affect our industry.
- At least 75% of this role is providing direct support.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience

Education:
- High School Diploma
Experience:
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities, preferably in an inclusive and integrated setting.
- Ability to navigate computers and varying computer software.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education:
BA/BS Degree in related field preferred
Additional eligibility requirements
- Must be able to verify employment eligibility under USCIS I-9 requirements.
