SUMMARY:
Inberg-Miller Engineer is recruiting for the Admin Assistant I position in Casper, WY office. This is an entry level position, full-time with great benefits and compensation package. Under the supervision of the Office Manager, Admin Assistant I assists and provides the support and service operations of the department and manage the administrative tasks. Provides general office and secretarial/clerical functions and technical assistance. Travel may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under general supervision, performs varied duties and assignments involving some judgment in support of managers, technical, client communities, or other departments.
- Assists department personnel with project and department administration and coordination. Resolves routine questions or problems.
- Works with the project team and supports them with a variety of administrative support tasks.
- Operates computerized word processing systems proficiently.
- Assists with answering phones and directing inquiries to appropriate staff.
- Verifies expense reports, corresponds with vendors, and processes invoices. Maintains vendor relations.
- Produces letters, memos, and correspondence on engineering topics, including legal descriptions, easements, agreements, reports, studies, ads, proposals, specifications, tables, contracts, forms, and other business typing.
- Files correspondence and other records, maintains project department files.
- Assists in scheduling and confirming meetings for assigned personnel.
- Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter, prepares outgoing mail.
- Prepares miscellaneous spreadsheets, charts, and graphs as needed for project assistance.
- Demonstrates the ability to learn new tasks and develop personally and professionally.
- Has the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Maintains master specifications, records management system, and performs other similar duties.
- Complies with all applicable safety guidelines and standards.
- Able to exhibit high level of confidentiality.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in management or science is preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in office management/admin support preferred.
- Preferred prior experience with an engineering and/or architecture firm.
- Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test.
Salary Grade: $17.00 to $22.00 (Per Hour)
Travel: 25%

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work outside in all weather conditions.
- The employee may work near heavy equipment and is occasionally exposed to vapors, fumes, or airborne particles. General PPE requirements for field work should be anticipated to be OSHA HAZWOPER level D, with occasional elevation to level C. In these exposure situations, the ability to wear and perform work duties in a passive respirator is required.
- The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate. The noise level on field sites is often loud; the use of hearing protection may be required for extended periods.
