Our client is seeking a driven and energetic Business Development Representative to join their Orlando headquarters full‑time. As the first point of contact for prospective customers, you’ll own outbound prospecting, pipeline development, and lead qualification for industry‑leading Retail Hardware, KDS, and Kitchen Automation solutions — with a focus on selling to smaller VAR (Value Added Reseller) Customers and growing the brand within Hospitality, Retail and C-Store channels. This Associate‑level role is ideal for a results‑oriented self‑starter looking to launch a high‑growth sales career in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high‑volume outbound prospecting (cold calls, email, LinkedIn sequences via HubSpot CRM) to generate qualified leads
- Target and set introductory meetings with smaller VARs, franchisees, and brand decision‑makers
- Qualify inbound leads, schedule discovery calls, and seamlessly hand off opportunities to Account Executives
- Maintain accurate activity and opportunity data in HubSpot
- Conduct market research on target accounts, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- 2 years of B2B inside sales, lead generation, or customer‑facing experience (technology, hardware, or SaaS a plus)
- Proven track record of meeting activity and pipeline KPIs
- Experience selling to VARs, hospitality, retail, or related channels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Self‑motivated “hunter” mentality with a relentless drive to build pipeline
- Proficiency with modern business solutions such as HubSpot CRM, Microsoft, and Google (or similar)
- Must reside in Orlando, FL and be able to work onsite five days per week
