The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and improvement across both facilities. Reporting directly to the Site President, you will lead a team of 4 managers and their teams, ensuring the implementation of best practices, enhancing organizational systems, and optimizing production processes. Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of managers, fostering collaboration and developing their leadership capabilities
- Develop and implement operational systems and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee project management from planning through to execution, ensuring goals are met within deadlines
- Promote employee development through recruitment, training, and retention strategies
- Implement lean manufacturing processes to drive operational efficiency and quality standards
- Provide regular operational reports, including production output, quality metrics, and improvements
- 10 years of progressive experience in operations, particularly within manufacturing and assembly lines
- Proven leadership in team management, with the ability to cultivate a collaborative environment
- Experience with process improvement and driving operational efficiencies
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with an understanding of complex production operations
- Experience in a private equity-backed environment
- Background in lean manufacturing or KPI-driven performance management
- Military background or experience in similar high-performance environments
