Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support annual audits, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze annual reports.
- Oversee investment activities, reconcile accounts, and manage cash flow.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, provide financial policy recommendations, and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with departments on grant management, strategic initiatives, and special financial projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in governmental accounting or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, GASB pronouncements, and financial reporting.
- CPA, CIA, or CMA certifications.
- Familiarity with grant management and federal compliance regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise accounting systems and financial software.
