Responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment
- Identify, resolve, and document technical issues related to network infrastructure
- Manage and maintain security solutions, including firewall and intrusion detection systems
- Develop network design proposals to enhance current infrastructure
- Document LAN, WAN, and cloud network configurations for internal records
- 5 years of networking experience
- Strong experience with Cisco routers and switches
- Network design experience
- CCNA certification required
- CCNP certification preferred
- Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds
- Proficiency in Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft 7, Server operating systems, Cisco IOS, and NX-OS
- Hands-on experience with network systems, protocols, and standards such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, OTV, xDSX, T1, etc.
- Experience working in a large-scale IT environment
- Familiarity with Cisco Nexus, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Wireless LAN controllers, Cisco 6500 series, and other advanced networking technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
