The position will focus on Capital Projects, providing in-depth financial analysis, driving process improvements, and contributing to the overall financial strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual budget and quarterly guidance updates for all capital projects.
- Generate financial analysis for projects, including break-even and return on investment.
- Collaborate with Accounting, R&D, and Software Development teams to track spend and ensure timely capitalization.
- Monitor actual expenses and performance, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop project dashboards and present financial analysis to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related position.
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Experience in federal, government, or manufacturing industries.
- Capital project accounting experience.
