Inclusively is partnering with a financial services company to hire a Creative Director, Marketing. **Please note: this role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company.**

  • Cross-strategy leadership: Lead multiple cross-functional teams to develop creative strategy, concept and execute a wide variety of firm and marketing campaigns, demonstrating innovation and vision, meeting business/marketing objectives, that appear in all channels and are seen by both internal and external audiences.
  • Creative team leadership: Manage and inspire a diverse team of internal creative professionals, including graphic designers, art directors, copywriters, and video producers. Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages creativity and personal growth.
  • Brand building: Lead development of creative work that differentiates us in the marketplace and elevates the client experience. Protect and enhance the company's brand identity, ensuring consistent application of brand guidelines across all creative materials and campaigns. Through creative direction, ensure that the stories we tell are in alignment with the experiences we deliver.
  • Communication: Confidently present and advocate for the verbal and visual work at all levels of the organization, while being able to listen and negotiate solutions, if needed, in order to maintain strategic and creative integrity.
  • Highly effective leadership: Collaborate with others to establish clear priorities and streamlined processes for the team; continually improve the operating model of the department; align the right work to the right resources at the right time.
  • Relationship building: Lead and direct teams and build strong relationships with both internal partners and external agencies. Partner with brand strategists and content strategy leads to develop and align creative work.
  • Mentoring: Develop culture of creative excellence, provide inspirational thought leadership, direction and mentorship to guide creative team members
  • MUST HAVE a well-rounded portfolio displaying strong concepts & design principles and original art direction on large complex campaigns
  • 10 years of leadership in the creative space, including ability to grow teams and to collaborate and influence in order to achieve objectives
  • Proven experience directing complex creative projects, involving senior stakeholders and interdisciplinary creative teams
  • Exceptional knowledge of and enthusiasm for design, copywriting, multimedia, and applied marketing strategy across all channels – expertise in at least two creative disciplines, proficient in several more
  • Deep understanding and experience working across end-to-end experiences and full funnel creative efforts
  • Expert ability to think holistically – about the end users engaging with us, a cohesive design system, message strategy and end-to-end experiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to express creative approach and strategic thinking
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office with proficiency in Figma preferred, as well as knowledge of application technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Agency experience is preferred. Art direction background is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, communications or equivalent work experience
